Cars, homes destroyed as 3,500-acre North fire burns Cajon Pass, 15 Freeway

CAJON PASS >> A wildfire ignited near the 15 Freeway on Friday afternoon driven by 20 mph winds quickly spread to 3,500 acres, destroyed four buildings, threatened 50 others and ignited passing vehicles.

What We Know:

• A 3,500-acre wildfire is burning in San Bernardino County's Cajon Pass across the 15 Freeway

• It is about 5% contained, fire officials say.
