Classes offered on organic gardening
Pasadena Water & Power is offering Pasadena customers a four-part class series on creating an organic edible garden from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays, Feb. 6-27, at the Salvation Army Pasadena Tabernacle.
The series will cover topics including the benefits or organic gardening and growing edibles; how to build good soil using organic materials; making beautiful container gardens; irrigation in small spaces; growing heirloom vegetables; knowing when and how much to prune; and keeping gardening tools sharp.
