Two consultants hired to guide Pasadena in investigating police oversight said Tuesday that despite more than 200 oversight entities existing in the United States, few are identical.
At a public meeting Tuesday, Kathryn Olson and Barbara Attard, past presidents of the National Association of Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement, told an audience of about 20 that they would meet with the police department, city council members, administrators and the public this week to assess the stakeholders' desires for police oversight and what form might work best for Pasadena.
