When California's minimum wage jumped from $9 to $10 an hour on Jan. 1, Jeremy Del Negro felt left behind.
"I was already making $10 an hour and I didn't get a raise ... so now I'm minimum wage," the 22-year-old Temple City resident said. "That's why I'm here."
