Los Angeles city leaders passed a new law Tuesday banning the possession of large-capacity gun magazines, joining a handful of other cities and states that have enacted tough gun regulations.
With the ordinance, possession of large-capacity magazines containing more than 10 rounds is illegal and owners will face misdemeanor charges.
