WEST WHITTIER >> Deputies checking an abandoned car discovered the body of a woman stuffed into a container in the rear cargo compartment of the stolen vehicle Sunday afternoon.
Sheriff's Homicide Lt. Dave Coleman on Monday said the woman, 19-year-old Dawn McEveety of Huntington Beach, had been shot.
