LOS ANGELES -- A person was struck and killed today by a Metro Gold Line train at the Little Tokyo/Arts District Station east of downtown Los Angeles.
The fatality was reported about 11:15 a.m. in the 200 block of North Alameda Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The Little Tokyo/Arts District Station was closed, and buses were brought in to ferry passengers in both directions between Union Station and the Pico Aliso Station, said Jose Ubaldo of Metro.
