WHITTIER - When attorney/author William C. Gordon was growing up, the library was a place of refuge for him. But now, Gordon - wanting to give back to Whittier High School where he graduated in 1955 - has donated $130,000 to help refurbish its library.
The $315,000 project, which included 40 new iPads, new tables and chairs, and a new entrance as well as landscaping, was dedicated Friday in Gordon's name.
