Warner and Carol Henry, L.A. Opera Board President, opened the terrace of their lovely aerie overlooking the Arroyo Seco for their traditional Labor Day burger bash to fete L.A. Opera benefactors and artists appearing in the upcoming 30th anniversary season.
This is one occasion when the longhair-types truly let their hair down, abandon shop-talk and professional discipline, to graze on Pie & Burger's cheeseburgers, French fries, onion rings, pie a la mode and wash it all down with libations from Warner Henry's cellar.
