WEST VALINDA >> Officials Tuesday were investigating an assault that left one person in extremely critical condition and two suspects in custody after an eight-hour standoff.
Jonathan Macias, 23, and Flavio Macias, 28, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and were being held on $1 million bail each pending an initial court date, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's officials and county booking records.
