DUARTE >> The City Council voted to cancel Nov. 3 City Council election and appoint the only two candidates.
During a special meeting Tuesday, the council passed the resolution to appoint incumbents, John Fasana and Liz Reilly, for another term of four years.
Reilly was elected in 2011 and is a teacher's aide at Valley View Elementary School.
