After one week, early voting numbers in LA County trumping 2012 totals

Early voters in Los Angeles County are casting ballots at a rate four-times higher than they did in 2012 -- perhaps signaling interest is still high in the upcoming presidential primary despite Donald Trump's unchallenged status and Hillary Clinton's wide lead over Bernie Sanders.

On Friday, the Los Angeles County Registrar reported that 252 people had voted since Monday -- the first day that early votes could be cast.
