The sun is just rising over her Reseda apartment Wednesday morning as Lily Guevara begins her 30-minute walk to the emergency room at Providence Tarzana Medical Center.
As she does every day when she gets to work, the housekeeper lays out two white towels under her feet and slowly starts moving across the floor in a skating motion with her mop, always worried that a nurse or patient might slip and fall on a damp floor.
