East Los Angeles College student Karla Cruz marched on Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles for May Day on Sunday for a very personal reason.
The Huntington Park resident, who was brought from Mexico illegally as a child, is allowed to work and is protected from deportation as a beneficiary of President Barack Obama's deferred action program known as DACA.
