ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST >> Highway 39 will reopen to Crystal Lake on Friday at 3:30 p.m., a week earlier than anticipated, Caltrans announced on Thursday.
Caltrans has completed a $2 million repair to several sections of the state highway just south of the turnoff for the lake and north of East Fork Road, said Patrick Chandler, Caltrans spokesman.
