Location filming in Los Angeles jumped 11 percent in the first quarter of 2016 from a year earlier, logging a record 9,703 shoot days thanks in part to a lineup of television shows including "Veep," "Animal Kingdom," "Rosewood" and "Twin Peaks," an industry tracker said Tuesday.
The film sector led the way with location shooting soaring 24 percent to 1,145 shoot days as the industry responded to a more robust California Film & Television Tax Credit Program, said Film.
