Nearly 50 years ago, the arrest of an African-American motorist led to a violent release of pent up anger and frustration in Los Angeles that has became known as the Watts Riots.
The anger and frustration stemmed from a lack of job opportunities, poverty, segregation and law enforcement abuses.
