Crestline homeowner Bill Kirschner remembers well the devastation of the Old Fire and Panorama fire.
He wants to do everything he can so he doesn't become a victim.
"So many people lost their homes in those aggressive fires," Kirschner said.
As the weather begins to warm up and things begin to dry out from the recent storms, firefighters continue to prepare for what could be a busy season.
