IRWINDALE >> Sen. Ed Hernandez has asked the state auditor to investigate the city of Irwindale, citing concerns over allegations of public corruption and "bullying" of businesses in the city.
Hernandez, D-West Covina, is seeking immediate approval of the request, which will be heard by the Joint Legislative Audit Committee on Wednesday.
