Lockheed plans voluntary layoffs of 1,000 workers

Lockheed Martin has announced a voluntary layoff program that targets about 1,000 mid-level employees in the company's aeronautics division.

Locally, the program is available to mid-level employee groups in Palmdale and at Edwards Air Force Base.
