Since the June election, City of Industry officials have handpicked new tenants for more than a third of the homes owned by the city.
Among those chosen for the heavily subsidized houses are former Vernon Councilman Dan Newmire, newly elected councilwoman Cory Moss's father and her coworker at the Industry Hills Expo Center.
