PASADENA - A malfunctioning air conditioner started a roof fire at a local school early Thursday morning.
Firefighters estimated damages at $15,000 to the structure and $4,000 to the contents.
Lisa Derderian, spokeswoman for the Pasadena Fire Department, said no one was injured and one classroom was affected.
