On Feb. 6, as an overture to Tinseltown's yearly love fest -- the 88th Academy Awards ceremony, which happens next Sunday -- the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) premiered its 24th annual "Art of Motion Picture Costume Design" exhibition with an opening party in the FIDM museum and galleries.
