MONROVIA >> It was April 1968, two weeks after Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, when a white schoolteacher in suburban Los Angeles wrote a famous cartoonist and suggested he add a "Negro" character to the "Peanuts" gang.
And he did.
Now, nearly 48 years later, Harriet Glickman will travel to Monrovia to sit down and share her story in celebration of Black History Month.
