Funeral and mass for former El Monte mayor Ernie Gutierrez announced

Funeral services for former El Monte Mayor Ernie Gutierrez will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. at Nativity Parish church, 3743 Tyler Ave., in El Monte.

A mass will be held on Friday at 10 a.m., also at the church, and a reception will follow at the El Monte Community Center, 3130 Tyler Ave.

Gutierrez
