CHATSWORTH -- With time running out for a winner to claim a $63 million SuperLotto Plus prize, a man who says he purchased the winning ticket but had it rejected by the California Lottery filed a lawsuit today alleging he is being wrongfully denied the jackpot.
Lottery officials said this week the holder of the winning ticket must come forward by the end of business Thursday, or the $63 million jackpot will be forfeited, making it the largest California Lottery jackpot ever to be forfeited.
