SAN GABRIEL >> John Pappalardo was unanimously appointed the district's new superintendent this week by the San Gabriel Unified School District board.
Pappalardo, who assumed the position Wednesday, comes to the district from Pasadena Unified where he served as the chief financial and facilities officer for the past six years.
