There has been no shortage of family entertainment this holiday season, with 28 options in the Southland for viewing Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet, "The Nutcracker." There are even a few performances of the Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol," such as South Pasadena's recent Fremont Theatre offering and the yearly tour de force presented by "A Noise Within," which includes additional matinees for 1,800 school children.
