SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS >> The latest weather system dropped several inches on snow on the San Bernardino Mountains prompting officials to order chain restrictions for the highways leading to local resorts Saturday morning.
Caltrans first issued the restriction Friday afternoon when snow began to stick on highways 18, 30 and 138, according to officials.
