El Monte >> El Monte police wounded a man in an officer-involved shooting Tuesday, police said.
The shooting took place at 5:54 p.m. in the 10500 block of Garvey Avenue, said Deputy Tony Moore. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives are assisting the El Monte Police Department in the investigation.
