California led the nation with 41,200 new jobs in October, far more than the 8,200 that were added the previous month, and Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire also saw significant gains.
The Golden State outpaced Florida, which added 35,200 jobs last month, and Ohio, which boosted its payrolls by 30,800 jobs, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.
