Trustees for the 23-campus Cal State University system will gather this week in Long Beach for regularly scheduled meetings, with the sound of faculty protesters outside the Chancellor's Office along Golden Shore.
The California Faculty Association has voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike, should salary wranglings end without agreement in the next few weeks.
