Whittier-area school boards will be getting new blood with six new members elected and four incumbents ousted in Tuesday's election.
Newly elected are: Elias Alvarado, South Whittier School District; Joanna Flores, Montebello Unified School District; Teresa Lugo Merino and Gabriel Orosco, El Rancho Unified School District; Dora Sandoval, Little Lake City School District; and Elias Sosa, Los Nietos School District.
