LOS ANGELES -- A cold storm system out of the Pacific Northwest will bring Southern California rain, lower temperatures, high winds and perilously rough seas today, National Weather Service forecasters said.
"Cooler unsettled weather will affect southwest California Monday through Wednesday of this week," said an NWS statement, adding that temperatures would be between 12 and 20 degrees lower than they have been -- about 10 degrees below normal, said NWS meteorologist Rich Thompson.
