More than 30 years after the slaughter of a family and a young friend in what is now Chino Hills, the case of death row inmate Kevin Cooper will be the subject of an hour-long episode of CNN's "Death Row Stories," Sunday.
Since his arrest following the June 1983 slayings of Douglas and Peggy Ryen, their 10-year-old daughter, Jessica, and her friend, Christopher Hughes, 11, Cooper has maintained his innocence, claiming he was framed by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and the District Attorney's Office.
