The City of South El Monte and Primestor Development will break ground on a new Starbucks and Menchie's at the Plaza del Sol Shopping Center, 1832 Durfee Ave., this morning.
City officials and developers will break ground on the new project at 10:30 a.m.
Construction of the drive-thru coffee store and frozen yogurt shop will begin before the end of the year.
