Duarte celebrated 58 years of cityhood Saturday with its 20th Route 66 Parade.
The parade headed east for one mile on Huntington Drive, between Cotter Street and Mount Olive Avenue.
It was followed by the annual Duarte City Picnic and Classic Car Show at Royal Oaks Park, which offered hours of family entertainment, ranging from clowns and carnival games to dancers and Japanese taiko drummers.
