WHITTIER >> Public Works Director David Pelser is retiring after eight years with the city. His last day will be Friday.
Pelser plans to work in the private sector on business development as a way of transitioning to full retirement, said City Manager Jeff Collier.
"This is going to be a huge loss for us," Collier said.
